Custom Music Writing

Our specialty at GPG Publications is to provide a unique opportunity for success in marching band by offering original compositions written specifically for the field. This allows us to tailor every nuance of the production from start to finish without sacrificing sections of pre-existing music due to timing or instrumentation restrictions. It also allows you to dictate very specific criteria for styles, ranges, and difficulty levels that are a good fit with your program.

Obviously, many bands accomplish great things using arrangements of pre-written music, but it is far-too common to encounter multiple versions of the same music at band competitions across the country. The only way to safely set yourself apart is to perform original music with the sole purpose of thrilling marching band audiences.

Each year, GPG Publications accepts a limited number of commissions for high school bands across the country. If you are interested in having a show written specifically for your band, please contact us immediately to secure your slot on our schedule for the upcoming season.

Custom Visual Design

In order to achieve a fully integrated musical and visual design, GPG Publications offers drill design services to compliment any pre-written or originally-composed show. In addition to the GPG designers knowing our music better than anybody else, we have package pricing available, making GPG Publications your one-stop shop for both premium quality and extreme value.

Here at GPG, we also offer Custom Color Guard Choreography. We write for flag, weapons and dance; depending on your specific needs. With every order, we will write to the phrases of your drill and you will receive a DVD of the work being done for use in your rehearsals.
