Composers: GPG Music is committed to encouraging composers from all marginalized communities to submit works for publication. Specific efforts will be made to solicit works from composers of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, religions, etc. Further, GPG Music encourages our published composers to share the GPG Music values. GPG Music reserves the right to remove the works of composers who we feel don’t share these values. 

Published Works: GPG Music encourages and seeks submissions of works for publication that appropriately celebrate cultural diversity. This includes concert music, marching band music, indoor percussion, indoor winds, and color guard. Composers/designers submitting works with cultural ties may be asked additional questions to ensure authenticity of cultural sources used  or represented in their work. GPG Music will examine the work through four lenses as related to cultural content: Respect, Sensitivity, Opportunity, Relationship. Based on this review, GPG Music will determine if the work is appropriate in its current form or if adjustments need to be made to meet our criteria for publication. Further background information on the work may be requested, also for publication, to ensure appropriate credit is given to any cultures. 

Hired Contractors/Partners: GPG Music will strive to do business with individuals and companies that share similar Diversity, Equity and Inclusion values. When hiring contractors, GPG Music will make every effort to ensure those companies or individuals both share our values and practice them consistently. This includes companies or organizations GPG Music chooses to sponsor and/or promote.
