The evolution of Western music over the last 2000 years is a story of faith, beauty, rebellion and artistic expression. “Between The Lines” cleverly explores our history through the constant of the five lines that comprise the musical staff. Beginning with the monastic chants of the Dark Ages, we explore five important periods of classical music progression. Gary cleverly explores the stylistic nuances that caused paradigm shifts in how we relate to one of the most universal artistic languages.
